As promised, Jhene Aiko will be following up her recent EP Sail Out, with a proper full-length album, Souled Out. In a recent interview with VIBE, Jhene reveals when we can expect the studio album to arrive, as well discusses Sail Out and the success its received.
After revealing her favorite track on the extended play ("Comfort Inn Ending") she goes on to say that the album will follow in the same vein as the aforementioned cut. The singer also reveals she'll be collaborating with her young daughter on a track called "Promises" off Souled Out. As well, she expects to put out an official single as well as several visuals from the EP prior to the album's release.
While she doesn't provide an exact release date, she does say it'll drop in May 2014.
