The hip-hop community is still coming to terms with the death of Nipsey Hussle. The rapper was shot and killed in front of his Marathon Clothing store in South Central Los Angeles on Sunday. Fans gathered in front of the store to pay their respects to the rapper while many of his peers in the rap game posted tributes on social media or paid homage during their concerts. However, Rick Ross has made sure that he carries Nipsey Hussle with him permanently everywhere he goes. Taking to social media, the Miami rapper revealed that he got a new tattoo in honor of the late rapper.
Just days after Nipsey Hussle's untimely death, Rick Ross has gotten a portrait of the Crenshaw rapper tattooed to his arm. "She just laced me with the new tatt," Ross said in the video. "R.I.P. to Nipsey Hussle. We got some more time to do. We got some more details to do."
Shortly after revealing his new tattoo, Rick Ross shared some words on Nip's death. Although their relationship goes back a few years, Ross revealed that they've been communicating a lot more in recent times since they collaborated on a new record and were plotting the video which was supposed to feature Teyana Taylor.
"It's about what the culture lost. You know the young homie was pure, his heart was pure," he said. "Hopefully, Nipsey inspired some more young leaders."
Rick Ross isn't the only person to tatt Nipsey on his flesh. JR Smith recently revealed the new piece that he got in honor of the late rapper.
