On Saturday, a tsunami struck the Sunda Straight in Indonesia with almost no warning, leaving at least 373 people dead. Just how surprising this wave was is hard to understand, until you see the video of the Indonesian band Seventeen, who get their whole stage washed away by the wave:

The group's singer is the only one of the group that survived the disaster. The drummer Windu Andi Darmawan, bassist Muhammad Awal Purbani, guitarist Hernawan Sikumbang and even manager Oki Wijaya were all taken by the wave. Riefian Fajarsyah, the lead singer, took on Instagram to share a series of messages to his departed bandmates and his wife, who is still missing He pleaded her to return, saying "Please come home my darling, I am longing for you," and "I am still here–I am not going anywhere–I will pick you and we can come home together sweet heart."

Funerals for the band members were killed in the tsunami were held earlier today.
