It looks like there was a piece of luggage left behind at JFK last week that you may not want to claim is yours. NYC trying to locate the owner of a suitcase loaded with 38 bricks of cocaine weighing more than 100 pounds that was found at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Authorities say the streets value of the cocaine is around $1.3 million if sold in bulk, and more if broken down.
The suitcase had been found on a flight from Quito, Ecuador, New York Daily News reported. Police are not sure who the suitcase belonged to, or whether that person or someone else will be coming to pick it, but I highly doubt anyone is going to willingly walk-in and say it’s theres.
Reports say the seizure happened last Wednesday, but were only made public today. We'll continue to keep you posted if anything more derives from it.
