The struggling Jets might be looking for a new coach.

It's been a pretty tough season for the New York Jets. They have a record of 4-11 and are last place in the AFC East, a division that includes the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins. In light of these struggles, it seems as though the Jets are thinking about going after University of Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh, according to Pro Football Talk.

Harbaugh, who coached the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-2014, led the team to a Super Bowl appearance in 2013, a team that had Colin Kaepernick at quarterback. Considering Harbaugh's NFL record, it's no surprise a team like the Jets would want to pursue him. It will cost the Jets a few bucks though. According to the report by Pro Football Talk, for Harbaugh to even consider coming back to the NFL, he would have to get more than the $7 million he's making now at Michigan. The former 49ers coach has the third highest salary amongst NCAA Football coaches.

Don't expect Harbaugh to make the jump back to the NFL anytime soon though. According to Sports Illustrated, the coach has made it clear that he wants to stay in Michigan and finish what he's started with their program.

"But I'm on record right here, right now: I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying at Michigan. We have big plans here, and there's a lot we want to accomplish."
