Former NFL defensive back Tony Beckham showed no mercy after he reportedly witnessed a man peeping into his 15-year old daughter's bedroom window.
According to reports, Beckham told WPBF-TV in West Palm Beach that he found the man looking into his daughter's room right after she had showered at 6:40 a.m. Monday with his pants undone and fondling himself. Beckham chased down the creep in the apartment complex's parking lot, and said the two "had a good conversation."
The man, identified as 48-year old Geoffrey Cassidy, suffered several broken bones in his face at the hands of Beckham. Additionally, Cassidy was arrested for Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition in the Presence of a Child.
WPLG-TV in Miami reports that Cassidy denied the sexual act, saying he was in the neighborhood because his car broke down and he was waiting for it to cool. According to TMZ, he is still being held in Palm Beach County Jail on $1,500 bond. If convicted he faces up to 15 years in prison.
Beckham, 40, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2002 draft by the Tennessee Titans, where he remained until 2005. He did not play in the 2006 season but finished his career as a member of the Detroit Lions in 2007.
