Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have been a dominant force in the NBA for the last five seasons. Curry and his teammates are three-point shooting gurus and continue to dazzle every single night on the floor. On Wednesday night, Curry furthered his dominance even more, becoming the first player to make eight or more three-point shots in three consecutive games.
In the Warriors 147-140 win against the New Orleans Pelicans, Curry made seven consecutive threes in the third quarter and made nine all game. He also knocked down 41 points which helped his team pick up the win. Curry actually had a slow start to the game but notched 23 points in the third quarter which injected the Warriors with a huge boost on offense.
"Sometimes when you get hot like that, you really don't see anything but the rim," Curry said according to ESPN. "And you just try to stay on balance and get to your spot wherever that is. These are shots I work on. I have confidence in them. I know my teammates do."
With the win, the Warriors improved to 31-14 on the season and continue to dominate the Western Conference as they sit atop the bracket. Their next game will be Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
