An artsy collaboration may be on the way.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian embarked on a most luxurious flight that earned them scornful messages from social media users. The couple had booked their very own Boeing 747 to fulfill their needs during what Kardashian deemed as a "long" flight. Turn out, they were destined for Japan. The Wests touched down in Saitama to visit Ye's longtime associate, Takashi Murakami, a famed international artist.

According to Murakami's socials, his America friends sung by his art studio. The reason for their visit might simply amicable, but some business might have also been discussed. Takashi is opening a souvenir shop on December 1, in Tokyo's famed shopping complex Nakano Broadway. The Japanese artist was recently in New York to attend the collaborative exhibition he created with Ye's good friend, Virgil Abloh. The show entitled "America, Too" went down at the Gagosian Gallery. Kanye may have linked up with Takashi at that time.

Old Kanye has already worked with the visual artist in the past as well. Takashi designed Ye's Graduation album cover and also directed the music video for his track "Good Morning," an animation production. He still holds a soft spot for Kanye's creativity. Check out his "I Love It" Cosplay below.
