Kendrick Lamar has been putting in work on soundtracks lately. The Compton rapper recently showed up on the "Divergent" soundtrack, teaming up with Tame Impala for "Backwards".
He's now hopped on a Pharrell-produced track, helmed by Alicia Keys, which will appear on "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" OST.
The song begins with some crashing guitars as K. Dot brings out his premium rasp. Things are then brought down to a key-led stomp when Alicia shows up.
The melodies are decidedly Pharrell-esque, which makes us think he likely had a hand in the songwriting process as well as the production.
Pharrell will also be contributing to the score for the film.
Quotable lyrics:
Tell him that you've got
The behavior or your neighbor
Even when stability's not in your favor
Fly with turbulence
Only last a minute
Fall on your dreams and recognize you live it
