This past week saw several high-profile albums finally arriving after a long wait. Tory Lanez' LoVE me NOw? was one of the most popular releases of the week but Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih's Mih-Ty should not be overshadowed. We were also lucky enough to receive new efforts from Mick Jenkins, Joji, MadeinTYO and others. Tory sits at the front of the rankings, as expected, with his second album of the year and the first-week sales projections have been making the rounds as for what we can expect the album to sell in its debut.
LoVE me NOw? reached the top of Apple Music's streaming chart for albums but according to the data being shared by Hits Daily Double, Tory Lanez will not be the owner of this week's top spot on Billboard. Tory's new project is expected to move 38-43K in equivalent album units, selling up to 6K pure copies. The numbers have not yet been revealed for Mih-Ty or Pieces of a Man but Lanez is expected to be the highest-selling hip-hop debut of the week.
The No. 1 album of the week should belong to Andrea Bocelli, who is expected to move up to 125K album units. If you haven't yet heard Tory Lanez' new album, check out the feature-heavy work here.
