It's no secret that LeBron James wants to play in the NBA with his son, LeBron James Jr., whether it be as teammates or opponents. The Los Angeles Lakers' star has expressed a desire to share the floor with his oldest son on numerous occasions, most recently during an appearance on The Tim Ferriss Show.
Of course, LeBron James Jr. also has to make it to the NBA first, but he's certainly on track to join the "family business."

Bronny Jr. is only in the eighth grade which means LeBron would need to keep going for another 5-6 years to make the dream a reality. At 33-years old, the four-time NBA MVP shows no signs of slowing so it wouldn't be a surprise if he's still competing at a high level when he's approaching 40.
During the interview with Ferris, LeBron reiterated his plans for the future.
"I would love to see the floor with my son. My son is in the eighth grade now. If he continues on the path that he's on right now, he could possibly be in the NBA in 5-6 years. So that would be an unbelievable moment for not only myself but for my family, for everybody. So we'll see. Obviously, taking care of the body is No. 1, and we will continue to do that. But more importantly, taking care of the mind. If your mind is not fresh, then your body will fall at the wayside. So through the grace of the man above and through everything that myself and (trainer) Mike (Mancias) and my support team do, that would be pretty daggone cool if I'm able to be on an NBA floor with my oldest son."
In his first season with the Lakers, his 16th season in the NBA, LeBron is averaging 27.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Meanwhile, 14-year old LeBron James Jr. has committed to playing high school basketball at Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, though he is not yet eligible to play on the school's varsity team.
