Post Malone and Quavo's star potential were evidently seen on their 2016 collaboration, "Congratulations." Since then, they've dominated the charts, racked up awards, and became two of the biggest stars in the music industry. While they've dished out plenty of hit records in between 2016 and now, "Congratulations" has withstood the test of time, still getting radio play to this day. Now, the two rappers gun to land a diamond record with the single as it racks up another RIAA certification.
Post Malone and Quavo's "Congratulations" has gone 8x platinum, selling 8M album equivalent units. Quavo took to Instagram to celebrate the news with his fans, revealing that it's nearing the rare diamond certification that only a few artists hold. The song's music video is currently sitting at 920M views as of Nov. 28th.
Although "Congratulations" is their biggest record together, it isn't the only track they've collaborated on. Earlier this year, Migos tapped Posty for the Culture II stand-out track, "Notice Me."
Overall, both Quavo and Post Malone have had a major year. Posty released his highly anticipated sophomore album, beerbongs & bentleys which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and is already certified double platinum.
As for Quavo, he, alongside the rest of Migos, released Culture II and more recently, he flexed his abilities as a solo artist with the release of his solo debut album, Quavo Huncho.
