Houston Rockets superstar James Harden suffered a gruesome injury to his eyes on Tuesday night after being accidentally poked by Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors. After leaving the game, Harden came back but his eyes had clearly been bleeding. Once the game was over, Harden explained that he could barely see and that everything around him was extremely blurry. With this in mind, the Rockets wanted to take all the precautions necessary to make sure that he'd be ready to go for Game 3 on Saturday.

According to ESPN, Harden saw an eye doctor immediately after the team landed in Houston on Wednesday. After undergoing some tests, it was revealed that there was no damage to either of Harden's corneas which is great news for the team. The doctor also said his vision should be completely back to normal by Saturday.

Despite playing with limited vision, Harden finished Game 2 with 29 points on 47.4 percent shooting. Despite his performance, the Rockets are down 0-2 in the series.

After game 2, Green apologized for the damage he inflicted on Harden.

"I made a mistake and hit him in his eye," Green said. "Just [wanted] to check on him. It's not about hurting anybody out here. So many times, people forget that when a guy [has] an injury, you live with that every day, every second of every day. It's not just about this game."
