Fans will be able to revisit the Pop/R&B classic.

JoJo fans got excited for the release of new music from the singer earlier this year. Producer Bryan-Michael Cox shared a photo of himself and the "Leave (Get Out)" artist chilling in the studio alongside Jermaine Dupri. Since then, Jo has confirmed the impending drop of a new project that will bring some new flavor to her 2004 debut.

Fans will revisit the chart-topping project with revamped versions of some of the tracks. This comes as a welcome surprise since the self-titled project is not currently available via online streaming platforms. The evolution of her vocal chops and artistry would be reason enough to justify this kind of re-issue.

In 2017, she tweeted about her tenuous situation: “My former label removed my music, I unfortunately have absolutely no control over what they do or don't do…I want to let bygones be bygones. I pray one day they put my music back up."

The previous year, JoJo expressed gratitude for her fans who have stuck by her side throughout the rough patches. “I'm really fortunate [to have fans] who’ve grown with me and have stayed committed and interested, and I don't take it for granted.”

JoJo's last album Mad Love, which featured Wiz Khalifa on its title track, was released in 2016.
