Earlier this month, police were on the lookout for a person of interest in the Young Greatness murder charge, a man by the name of Brett Scipio. The search arose after Young Greatness was murdered outside a New Orleans Waffle House on October 29, 2018. At the time, one Donald Reauxwas deemed a person of interest, though it was emphasized that he was not a suspect. Now, however, it would appear that new information has come to light, and Reaux is currently wanted for a three new charges: obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice, and accessory to second-degree murder.
In a report by The Advocate, it's claimed that officers believe Reaux was involved in Greatness' murder, albeit to an unknown (or unspecified) capacity. Given the aforementioned charges, it's difficult to say whether police believe him to be the killer, though it seems likely that Reaux was, at the very least, familiar with whoever pulled the trigger.
As of now, Reaux remains in the wind, and police are continuing their search as we speak. Hopefully, 2019 can bring justice for the slain rapper, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 34.
