Childish Gambino fans were disappointed by the news of his being forced to cancel shows following an injury. The rapper broke his foot in Dallas last month which put the remaining dates of his This Is America Tour on hold. While he is expected to return to live performances by the end of this year, he might not be able to rock it.
Gambino hopped on social media to update his fans on his physical state. According to his IG story, the artist isn't completely back on his feet just yet.
"not ready to put on 100% shows. apologies to the fans. i will be back soon."
Fam Rothstein, the co-principal of the creative collective Wolf + Rothstein, previously detailed Gambino's situation, saying that the rapper would complete his remaining dates before 2019.
"This is America tour is postponed, not canceled. My guy played through the pain but has to sit some dates out. Back before the years over."
