Le'Veon Bell's holdout was unexpected, but here we are in Week 4 of the NFL's regular season and he's nowhere to be found. Many Pittsburgh Steeler fans thought that the organization would have paid Bell before the season began, but the Franchise Tag was the team's answer to the issue. Apparently, their answer wasn't enough. The Steelers have reaffirmed their decision countless times, claiming that one man does not make a team. Bell is one of the best, if not the best, running backs in the league. Now, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Steelers are attempting to get something for their displaced running back.
"The #Steelers are now activately (sic) shopping RB Le'Veon Bell, sources say, making calls and doing due diligence," tweeted Rapoport. "A trade would be difficult, but not impossible." Rapoport was relaying information he received via Good Morning Football. As previously reported, the New York Jets are interested in acquiring Bell. They are one of the few teams that have the cap space to sign the superstar running back. The Steelers are currently last in their division, sitting at 1-1-1 before Sunday night's game. They will look to grab a win against their division rivals, the Baltimore Ravens.
