Green has struggled at times this season.

Draymond Green has been a pain in the side for multiple NBA teams over the years as his aggressive defensive play has allowed the Golden State Warriors to dominate during their historic run. While Green has struggled at times this season, the 29-year-old continues to prove himself as one of the best defensive players in the entire league. The owner of the Warriors, Joe Lacob, recently spoke about Draymond's play, saying he always knew Draymond would be fine even while he struggled.

"He's Draymond Green," Lacob told The Athletic. "I wasn't worried. I want Draymond Green to be here forever. He's as Warrior as they come."

Green has been aware of shortcomings this season, saying that he never really felt in shape, although things have changed for him in the playoffs.

"All this year I don't think I was in great shape at all," Green told reporters according to Sporting News. "Part of it was I wasn't healthy most of the year. Really just locking in and focusing on my body, getting it healthy and ready for this time of year has been important. I feel great out there. I think it's showing in my play. But it's a long road for what we want to do. Just got to continue to do the things that I've been doing, continue to try to bring it on the floor."

Green and the Warriors are currently up 2-0 on the Houston Rockets in the second round of the playoffs.
