LeBron is looking to honor one of his favorite TV Shows.

LeBron James has been known for his nods to pop culture when it comes to his Signature Sneaker line with Nike. Whether it be music or TV, James loves to pay homage to the things he loves. Now though, it appears as though the NBA legend will be throwing it back to the 90s with the latest colorway of the LeBron 16, which is a nod to the TV Show "Martin."

James' friend Frankie Walker confirmed that the pair exists on Instagram and even showed off an image of what it will look like. This sneaker has a purple battleknit upper, with crimson and yellow laces that crisscross over each other. It's an extremely unique look that is actually inspired by the Season 5 DVD boxset of the show.

Foot Locker's release calendar currently shows a LeBron 16 colorway set for release on April 16th. The Colorway is listed as "Court Purple/Tour Yellow" which has many people believing it could be the "Martin" colorway. However, this isn't a confirmation and considering the colorway, it could be a separate Lakers model.

LeBron has stated in the past just how much he likes the show "Martin" so it only makes sense that a show is coming out in its honor.

Stay tuned for updates on this shoe as we will provide all of the up to date information.
