DC has announced that a new live-action series called Doom Patrol will be making its way onto their popular "DC Universe" streaming platform on February 15th. According to The Verge, the announcement comes at the same time as the airing of the last episode of their Titans series. To complement the announcement, DC shared a brand new trailer that will introduce some of the main characters.
The characters featured in Doom Patrol were introduced throughout Titans this season. The superheroes will all be a part of the same team and are cast out by society as a result of getting their super powers. Fans can expect characters such as Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk) Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), Robotman (Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan),Cyborg (Jovian Wade) Negative Man (Matt Bomer and Matthew Zuk), and The Chief (Timothy Dalton.)
"DC Universe" was introduced as a streaming service back September of this year and acts as a place where fans of DC can go and watch all of their favorite old movies and TV shows. Doom Patrol and Titans are just some of the original series that the streaming service will offer, although there are plans for more new series in the future.
