Kodak Black's marketing team just broke some ground via Twitter. According to Sniper Gang's unchecked Twitter account, where Kodak (his team) often makes artist inquiries, his forthcoming album will drop next Wednesday, on Halloween. The last time Kodak released a project on Halloween, it was his F.E.M.A. EP with Plies, published through Atlantic, as would be the case. Sniper Gang continues to scour the marketplace for talent, after signing a deal with Atlantic that calls for Sniper Gang to solicit talent on its behalf.
The details surrounding the project are not clear, but Kodak did state in September that he'd like to move away from rap, after completing one or two more albums. Kodak's mood level has oscillated between completely disenchanted to "fairly energized" to make music. We also witnessed moments of pure elation where he seemed excited to work with Travis Scott and Bruno Mars to name a few. So who knows, really?
For what it's worth, "ZEZE" continues to perform well on the charts, and the demand for Kodak's music is only a few grades lower than it was before he started his prison sentence. With that being said, look out for Kodak's unnamed project on Wednesday, one day before Action Bronson drops White Bronco, and two days prior to Takeoff's solo debut.
Keep it locked.
