This past Saturday night, UFC fighter Chuck Lidell took on his longtime foe Tito Ortiz for the third time in their career at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Despite losing the fight, that didn’t stop Chuck from partying it up afterwards. According to PageSix, Chuck hit up LA hot spot Nightingale Plaza for a special late night party with a live performance from Wiz Khalifa.
Attendees at the party said Wiz “had the whole room standing and singing along to his hit tracks.” Of those in attendance were Mickey Rourke, Brody Jenner and comic Russell Peters to name a few. A source added, “Chuck was welcomed by applause and balloons that read ‘ICEMAN’ as he celebrated at a VIP table.”
If you follow Wiz on social media, then you probably know he’s no stranger to the mixed martial art lifestyle. Over the past year or two, Wiz has picked up boxing & MMA, turning himself from a skinny stoner into a swole fighter. So he was probably honored to perform at the party for Liddell.
Unfortunately there’s no footage of the performance as it was a private event, but Wiz did just drop off his video for his boxing-themed record “Holyfield” which you can watch here.
