"ZeZe" makes a great first impression.

This week, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, and Offset all earned their first No.1 track on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with "ZeZe." It's not much of a surpise as the cut was the highest-charting track across all genres this week, sitting at No. 2 behind Maroon 5's "Girls Like You" as the Cardi B-assisted cut holds the top spot for a fifth week in a row.

Naturally, the success of "ZeZe" is laregly attributed to streams with the track also finding the No. 1 slots on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and all-genre Streaming Songs charts after garnering 43.9 million streams in the United States during the week ending October 18th while also selling 23,000 total downloads to bow at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs Sales chart.

Prior to "ZeZe," the highest Kodak ever got onHot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs was at No. 4 with "Tunnel Vision" while Trav hit No. 3 with "Sicko Mode." Offset's highest visit as a solo artist was on Tyga's "Taste" which previously climbed to No. 7.

"ZeZe" becomes the fith song to make a debut at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in 2018. It finds itself in good company with  Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What,” Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” and Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar's “Mona Lisa,” featuring Kendrick Lamar. "ZeZe" ties 2018 witht he year 1995 for the year with the most No. 1 debuts on the same chart. That year, the record was set by The Notorious B.I.G.’s “One More Chance/Stay With Me,” Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone,” Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy,” R. Kelly’s “You Remind Me of Something” and Whitney Houston’s “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)."
