Cerrone isn't playing around with McGregor

A potential fight between Donald Cowboy Cerrone and Conor McGregor has been teased for a while now. Cerrone is seemingly on board with the fight and the UFC is currently trying to get a deal done that McGregor will agree to. McGregor was the one who initially suggested a fight a few months back while congratulating Cerrone on Twitter. Since then though, Cerrone says McGregor won't agree to a fight, mainly because the UFC wants to make it a co-main event and Conor doesn't want to share the spotlight.

"Conor won't fight unless it's a main event," Cerrone said according to ESPN. "I don't know if it's an ego thing or a status thing for him. I don't give a s---. I'll fight anyone, anywhere, and I stand by that all the time. I guess he's a prima donna and only takes main event spots. I don't know."

Cerrone is frustrated that nothing is getting done and has some harsh words for the Irish UFC fighter. It seems as though Cerrone is quickly running out of patience.

"We were all waiting on Conor for April, and he said he wasn't ready," Cerrone said. "I don't know how in one breath you can say, 'I'll fight anyone, anytime, anywhere,' and the next one say, 'I'm not ready for that one.' I'm more annoyed that he went radio silent after putting it out. I get it, you want to stay relevant by putting it out there, but then you can't go radio silent. Sack up, b----. Sign the f---ing paper."

The UFC reportedly tried to get a fight done for April 13th, although now the date being thrown around is July 6th.
