Andre Benjamin has returned, though not in the capacity you might expect. Though OutKast fans remain hopeful that Three Stacks will ride out for one last musical hurrah, the brilliant talent has opted to dabble in a different field. As it happens, Andre has landed a lead role in the upcoming film High Life, starring alongside Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, and Mia Goth. Today, the trailer has been released, and it looks like it's going to be another knockout success for the ever-consistent A24.
Though Andre's involvement is certainly enough to pique the interest of hip-hop fans, A24 continues to be a massive draw for film buffs. The studio has developed a reputation for housing some of the genre's most innovative and acclaimed films, including Hereditary, The Witch, Ex Machina, Eighth Grade, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Lady Bird, The Disaster Artist, and more. High Life looks to expand on that pattern, with what looks to be an impressive turn from director Claire Denis.
Check out the trailer now, and keep an eye out for High Life, hitting theatres on April 12, 2019.
