A few years ago, it would have been almost unimaginable that the New York Giants would want to trade wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Things have changed though for the struggling Giants as quarterback Eli Manning is on the decline and the team can't seem to buy a winning season. There is no guarantee that OBJ will be traded, but according to reports from Jason LaConfora of CBS Sports, the Giants are entertaining offers.
"I did hear at the combine, pretty strongly, that for the right price Odell Beckham can be had," LaConfora said. "The Giants are willing to continue to listen to teams. It would take a very high price, but we've seen a lot of receivers traded in the past for two ones, guys like Keyshawn Johnson, who had never come close to what Odell Beckham has done and he's obviously still in his prime."
LaConfora also explained that there are three teams that currently have a shot at acquiring Beckham Jr.
"Pump the brakes on Cleveland for OBJ right now, but there's a lot of time between now and the draft," he said. "Cleveland, Oakland, San Francisco are the teams I've heard most connected to Odell Beckham."
It seems as though all three of these teams are in desperate need of some wide receiver talent as Cleveland, Oakland, and San Francisco have all been linked to Antonio Brown.
