The Heat guard says he has been patient long enough.

Miami Heat shooting guard Dion Waiters wasn't pleased after he logged just 12 minutes of action during the team's blowout loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.

Waiters has appeared in just five games this season since returning from an ankle surgery, and he has not started nor played in more than 24 minutes in any of those games.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Waiters exclaimed, "Fuck patience!" following the 124-86 shellacking in Milwaukee.

"F--k patience!" Waiters said. "I want to play. I've been patient long enough. What do I got to be patient for? Come on man. I've been patient. I think everybody knows that. It's time. What are we waiting for? If I'm out there, play me."

Waiters continued: “the next step is being back in the starting lineup, shit like that. Patience has run out. I’m tired of this. Get back to my regular self.”

Waiters finished with just four points on 1-of-4 shooting with one assist and three turnovers last night. The 27-year old guard started in 73 of 76 games for the Heat during his first two seasons in 2016-17 and 2017-18.

Last night's loss puts Miami at 21-21 for the season, which is still good enough for sixth best among Eastern Conference teams. Their road trip continues Friday night in Detroit, and it will be interesting to see if Waiters sees more court time following his post-game comments.
