Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus is apparently dipping into hip-hop, like his child, Miley Cyris.

Miley Cyrus seems to have adopted hip-hop for herself, and now it looks like her father Billy Ray Cyrus is following in her footsteps. We regret to inform you that Billy Ray has recorded a "hip-hop version" of his 1993 single "Achy Breaky Heart."

As random as that may be, what's even more random is the source of this news, Larry King. King tweeted about a phone call with Mr. Cyrus in which he revealed the hip-hop version of the track. King added, "he's excited about it & so am I!" What about you?

What's more, according to radaronline.com, casting for a music video for the re-vamped version of the record has already begun.

There was also a photo of Billy Ray in the studio with Wiz Khalifa recently-- could this have something to do with the "hip-hop version"?
