Mac Miller promises that "Pink Slime" with Pharrell is coming this 2014.

Last year Mac Miller and Pharrell announced that they would be joining forces for a collaborative project titled Pink Slime. They proceeded to roll out two singles from the EP, "Onaroll" and "Glow" both of which were very well received. The two artists even dropped the artwork for the EP-- yet the project itself never surfaced, due to obligations from either party.

Now in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Mac Miller reveals that Pink Slime with Pharrell is back on course, and should be released at some point in the new year. We actually just talked a couple days ago," the Pittsburgh native shared with RS. "I'm going to go see him [in Miami] and we're going to finish it and put it out. Because the shit's ill and people want it. We both had pretty wild years. We gotta do it!"

Mac continued, "All we gotta do it sit down for a few days and knock out songs." He added that he enjoys the change of scenery by working at Pharrell's Miami-based studio. "It's refreshing," he said. "[In L.A.] I'm in this dungeon, my little cave that's this weird-ass looking place that I just live in. And then to go to Miami, it's just so nice to see natural light and a pool and happy things. It's good."

In addition to updating fans on the status of Pink Slime, Mac also spoke on his other upcoming release, Live From Space, which has a collection of live tracks backed by a band, as well as five new bonus cuts. Among them, there is a Future-featured "Earth" for which Mac praises the ATLien. "Future murders that shit!" Miller said of "Earth." "He sounds comfortable and at home on that track. It's great to hear."

Live From Space is set to drop on December 17th. Listen to the two previously-released Pink Slime records below.
