A general view of atmosphere at Wendy's before Eva Longoria Parker kicks off their third annual "Father's Day Frosty Weekend" (June 20-21) which benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption at Wendy's on June 11, 2009 in Selma, Texas.
Just in time for the summer.

Wendy's are already getting ready for the summer with new menu additions. One of their latest additions includes a revamped version of their classic Frosty. Wendy's introduced their new Frosty Cookie Sundae to their menu. The new dessert consists of the Frosty as the base with a chocolate chunk cookie on top of it and to finish it off, a drizzle of Ghirardelli Chocolate sauce. Wendy's also introduced an alternative for those who find it a bit of chocolate overload with a Vanilla Frosty base.

Ghirardelli, who previously teamed up with In-N-Out for the fast food chain's hot cocoa, announced the partnership with Wendy's earlier this week on social media. Wendy's subtly announced it by tweeting "frosty," "cookie," and "sundae" in three separate tweets.

Wendy's also announced that they've launched a Made To Crave menu including three new sandwiches: Avocado BLT (muenster cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, ranch), S’Awesome Bacon Chicken (muenster cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, S’Awesome sauce) and Barbecue Chicken (muenster cheese, fried onions, pickles, barbecue sauce).

“After seeing the customer response to our Made to Crave Hamburger lineup, we knew we had to continue the excitement and flavor creativity with chicken,” said Kurt Kane, Wendy’s Executive Vice President, Chief Concept and Marketing Officer, in a press release.  “So why settle for basic when you can satisfy your cravings with any undeniably good, every day flavor from our lineup of new Made to Crave Chicken sandwiches."
