If you're dizzy from information coming out about R. Kelly's court case drama, join the club. It's difficult to keep up with all of the battles the singer is currently facing, especially after he had a meltdown with Gayle King during his recent interview. As his story continues to unfold, things become even more strange, including recently when Kelly was arrested for failing to pay $161,000 in back child support. Until Kelly can come up with the funds, he'll remain behind bars. The last time he found himself in jail, a friend bailed him out, so we'll all have to wait and see if any other Kelly supporters will write a check for his freedom.
Now, The Blast is reporting that the Feds have continued their investigation into Kelly's case. According to the publication, representatives of the U.S. Attorney's Office and federal investigators have been watching Kelly closely, possibly in connection with sex trafficking. One of Kelly's employees, Kash Howard, was reportedly interviewed as a part of their investigation. Howard met with officials along with her attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis and answered questions regarding Azriel Clary, one of Kelly's girlfriends. Specifically, they wanted information on how much Howard knew about a trip Clary took from Palm Springs to Orlando in 2015 when Clary was just 17-years-old.
“This has been a very disturbing situation for me,” Howard reportedly admitted to officials. She said she is “supportive of the young ladies" but will help with the investigation any way she can. The family of Joycelyn Savage, one of Kelly's other girlfriends, have a meeting scheduled with investigators on Thursday.
Meanwhile, TMZ blasts claims Kelly made in his Gayle King interview that he's focused on being there for his children more than his career. They say that he hasn't spoken to his three kids nor his ex-wife Andrea Kelly since 2017. His daughter, Buku Abi, not only called him a "monster" in a statement, but said she and her siblings haven't had a relationship with their father for years.
