Just last week we reported that Romeo Miller was set to join the upcoming third installment of Bad Boys. "When you get callbacks and opportunity to work alongside your idols Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, you go study and go ghost," Romeo said of the involvement in the film. "These kind of calls and emails is what makes it worth it though."
Variety now reports that another set of acts have been added to the film and it's none other than Vanessa Hudgens (Spring Breakers), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games) and Charles Melton (Riverdale).
According to the publication, "Hudgens, Ludwig, and Melton play a modern, highly specialized police unit that collides with the old school Bad Boys (Will Smith and Martin Lawrence) when a new threat emerges in Miami." Filming for the movie is set to begin next month while the completed film is expected to hit theatres January 2020.

As we've previously posted, the plot for the third installment is as follows:
The film will see Lawrence’s character Marcus Burnett working as a private eye after a falling out with Smith’s Mike Lowery, who is going through a midlife crisis as a bachelor who finally wants to mature, all while dealing with a new a young and cocky partner who is loyal to Lowery but that loyalty is not reciprocated, and finds bond with Burnett when he returns to the fray. Lowery and Burnett are brought together again when a lean, mean, skilled, Albanian mercenary with a vendetta puts a death order on Lowery and Burnett for the death of his brother. Now the two must work together once again to bring him down."
