A few weeks ago, there were reports that Maroon 5 was having trouble finding guests for their Super Bowl halftime show performance. That didn't seem entirely true since Travis Scott was reported to be joining them this morning. However, this decision didn't settle well with many of his fans who accused him of selling out and not standing with Kaepernick. However, it looks like Scott's decision to perform at the Super Bowl is also not sitting well with Jay-Z.
Jay-Z is not feeling Scott's decision to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl with Maroon 5. According to Variety, Hov's been trying to convince Travis Scott to step down from performing at the Super Bowl. Hov's been one of the public figures who have been extremely vocal in their support for Colin Kaepernick and their criticism towards the NFL. It's unsure what Scott will decide, but clearly, there's a lot of pressure on him right now.
Jay-Z isn't the only person who had something to say about Scott's Super Bowl performance. Meek Mill also spoke out against Scott's decision to perform at the annual event. Meek Mill said that Scott doesn't need the Super Bowl at all and that he should, "Stay strong in this shit!" Meek also clarified that he doesn't have any issues with Travis Scott in any way.
Aside from Travis Scott, it's rumored that Cardi B and Big Boi will also be performing with Maroon 5 this year. We'll keep you posted if this is confirmed.
