Tyreek Hill has been dominating the NFL news cycle as of late due to a child abuse case that was reopened after disturbing audio surfaced of Hill allegedly talking down to his Fiancée and hurting their child. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently monitoring the situation and haven't committed to removing the wide receiver from the team. In the meantime, Chiefs players are being asked about the situation, including newly signed safety Tyrann Mathieu.
"I think it's bad, man," Mathieu said to SB Nation Radio (via ProFootballTalk). "Obviously, it's very disappointing. Obviously, I came to the Chiefs with hopes that I could watch him play football and watch him run back punts and catch long bombs and outrun everybody. You know, it's a very unfortunate situation."
Since Mathieu hasn't been on the team for very long, he was a little shy to speak to Hill's character, although he explained that as a father, it was very tough to hear the audio.

"I haven't been his teammate much, just basically two or three weeks. So it's not really fair for me to comment on his character. I don't think I really know him. But like I said just with everything that's out right now and obviously the audio, it's very disappointing, not only from a teammate standpoint but I'm a father as well. It's very disappointing."
Stay tuned for updates on Hill's situation as the offseason progresses.
