Fultz is looking for a second chance in Orlando.

After being selected first overall by the Philadelphia 76ers, there were some pretty high expectations bestowed upon Markelle Fultz. Sharing the court with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, many thought Fultz could be the piece that would help propel the 76ers to an NBA Finals appearance. Fultz wasn't able to meet those expectations while in Philly as a shoulder injury kept him out of the lineup for the majority of his time there. At the trade deadline this year, Fultz was traded off to the Orlando Magic which he was thankful for at the time, saying he was glad to get a fresh start somewhere else.

Since being traded, Fultz has continued to rehab his shoulder and according to head coach Steve Clifford, Fultz will most likely be sitting out the rest of the season to make sure he's healthy for next year.

"[Fultz is] still rehabbing his shoulder and he’s not even able to really do much on the floor yet. It’s a pretty significant shoulder injury," Clifford explained to SiriusXM NBA Radio. "I would say he’s starting to do a little bit, but it would be very difficult for him to get back this year.”

The Magic are currently fighting for one of the final playoff spots in the East as they are ranked 10th in the Conference with a record of 30-36.
