A$AP Rocky has publicly announced the impending release of his new instrumental album and single, the news having caused a small riot in SoHo today.

As reported by Complex, it seems A$AP Rocky shut down the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo with a bit of guerilla marketing this afternoon. Around 3 p.m., as Super Bowl excitement was mounting, Rocky rolled up to the intersection at Lafayette Street and Broadway and announced the impending release of his new instrumental album, tentatively titled Beauty And The Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1), as well as the first single/visual, "Riot Rave". Almost immediately, a "flash mob of A$AP fans" garbed in A$AP Bari's new VLone clothing line descended on the intersection as the track blasted from a vehicle.

Needless to say, things escalated quickly. Police officers arrived at the scene and made fifteen arrests before the mob dispersed, and a Ferrari was apparently damaged in the scuffle. Peep photos of the incident in the gallery above.

"Riot Rave" is slated to drop later this month. Who's looking forward to this album, though?
