Lil Wayne will finally be able to speak to Elliot Wilson on "Tha Carter V."

The wait is over and Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V is finally here. It's been roughly five years since he initially announced the project and a lot has changed. The rapper finally settled his contractual dispute with Birdman and Cash Money and his highly anticipated project is finally here after years of waiting. Now that the project is here, the GOAT will be sitting down for an in-depth interview next week with Elliot Wilson.

Lil Wayne will be sitting down with Elliot Wilson as part of the "CRWN" interview series. The conversation between the rap giant and the legendary hip-hop journalist will take place on October 3rd at 9 p.m. ET. The interview will also be streamed live directly on TIDAL, if you don't have the opportunity to actually be there in person.

This will be Lil Wayne's second "CRWN" interview with Elliot Wilson. The two of them sat down in 2014, shortly before Weezy revealed that Cash Money was refusing to release Tha Carter V and all the drama ensued. Over four years later since they initially sat down and Wayne can finally open up about the journey to releasing Tha Carter V and the 23 song tracklist. Hopefully, he could also reveal why there wasn't a verse from Drake on the project as well.

Check out Lil Wayne's "CRWN" interview with Elliot Wilson at 9 p.m. ET on TIDAL.
