Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray has been making headlines this week thanks to his decision to enter the NFL draft. The star QB is technically already a member of the Oakland Athletics of the MLB, but it seems as though the player would rather play football right now. It is also reported that Murray would want $15 million to stay with baseball.
Other NFL stars feel as though Murray would be great in the NFL. Among those players is New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley who spoke to TMZ about Murray's choice to declare for the draft.
"I got to personally play with him in The Opening in high school -- I played 7-on-7 with him. So, I know what he's about and I know how talented he is," Barkley told TMZ. "I think there's a lot of talented quarterbacks in the class and all those guys have a great future."
Barkley also spoke on whether or not the New York Giants should think about pursuing Antonio Brown. "I think that's an easy answer -- anybody would want to play with him," Barkley exclaimed.
The Giants could use all the help they can get considering they finished the season 5-11 and missed the playoffs.
