Woodstock is one of the most iconic music festivals of all time. When you think of the 1969 event, a few different things come to mind. Vast fields, great music, psychedelic drugs, and more. The legendary festival is returning to its original grounds this summer, celebrating its 50th anniversary by teasing a major lineup. While Woodstock 50 has not announced their full list of performers yet, a few musicians have been confirmed by Billboard. The rest are rumored but there's a decent chance that those names will show up on the bill when the announcement does come.
According to Billboard, the show will hold performances from a lineup of over 80 artists. The organizers are banking on this being a "once-in-a-lifetime" event and with a few of the rumored guests, it very well could be one. Let's start with the confirmed acts. Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Santana, and more have all been revealed via Billboard. Hypebeast notes that a few other stars are rumored to be performing, so take this next bit with a grain of salt. Miley Cyrus, Halsey, The Black Keys and Jay-Z (!!!!!) have all been speculated to have signed on the dotted line. If they are announced within the next few weeks, Woodstock 50 will gain itself a ton of credibility.
The anniversary edition of Woodstock will take place in August. Are you keeping an eye on the potential lineup?
