On the field, things couldn't have gone much better for the Los Angeles' Rams offense last night. Second-year quarterback Jared Goff posted career-highs in passing yards (465) and passing touchdowns (5), as the Rams remained undefeated on the season with a 38-31 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
LA's wide receivers feasted on the Vikings secondary throughout the game, including Robert Woods, who snagged a 31-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter to put the Rams ahead for good. Woods finished with five catches for 101 yards and the touchdown.
While things were going well on the field, it was a different story back at Woods' home. According to TMZ Sports, Woods' San Fernando Valley home was burglarized during last night's game.
Per TMZ:
"We're told when Woods returned to his home after the game, he called police -- but since no alarm was set, it's unclear exactly when the burglary took place. It appears the intruder entered through a back window. Sources say cops and Woods are trying to put together a list of what was taken."
This isn't the first time that a Los Angeles athlete came home to find out that their place had been broken into. LA Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig, who also lives in San Fernando Valley, is far too familiar with this kind of thing. Earlier this month, Puig's home was burglarized for the fourth time while he was playing at Dodgers Stadium.
