Some of you are undoubtedly surprised and/or put off by our coverage of Miley Cyrus, but her infiltration of the rap game can't be denied. Many of your favourite rappers and producers have embraced her, and some of them will be contributing to her upcoming solo album Bangerz, which is slated to drop on October 8th.
Last night, the polarizing songstress took to Instagram and Twitter to reveal both the standard and deluxe covers, which have a minimalist, new wave aesthetic reminiscent of the 80s, despite her having been born in 1992. This morning, she leaked the latest track from the project, titled "Wrecking Ball".
Miley will be performing her Mike Will Made It-produced single "We Can’t Stop" at the MTV VMA’s tonight. Yesterday, the rising producer previewed her rapping verse on his new single "23", which also features Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa. The full track is apparently dropping tomorrow, and a video set in Brooklyn is in the works.
