Kyrie Irving only played 11 games with the Duke Blue Devils before an injury sidelined him for the rest of his freshman season. It didn't matter too much though as Kyrie was selected first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers just a year after LeBron James had left the team in complete disarray. While Irving's tenure at Duke didn't last long, the NBA superstar still has an appreciation for the school and its coach Mike Krzyzewski. With that in mind, it only makes sense that Kyrie would still make Duke-related PE's for himself. Well, now it looks as though Kyrie will be giving the fans a chance to cop one of those PE's as a brand new Nike Kyrie 5 is coming to the market.
This latest sneaker has a black upper with black accents found throughout. The blue extends to the midsole which also has some white near the back wrapping around the heel. The Kyrie logo on the tongue is blue as well, while the Blue Devils logo finds its way onto the bottom of the tongue. A silver swoosh and Duke logo on the back heel are some of the details that round out the shoe.
