Yesterday, we reported on Halsey's performance at the finale of The Voice, where she sang "Without Me" and told a story through a dance duet with Jade Chynoweth. Halsey said on Instagram yesterday that "lots of people" are "angry" because the story that her and Chynoweth told/danced was one of a lesbian couple or, as she put it, "a wlw couple and their emotional journey." Now she's also taken to Twitter, repeating the fact that "representation matters," to defend her position and denounce her "homophobic" detractors:
