Digga D is still discovering his potential outside of the constraints of his "roadman" reputation. Two days ago, Digga stole the headlines by releasing what's being pegged as the West Londoner's formal re-introduction to the mainstream. Double Tap Diaries is a project that borrows heavily from lived experiences (in relation to theme and subject matter) - predominantly the experiences he underwent on the road leading up to his incarceration.
There's no sense in backtracking, Digga D has shown a willingness to provide you the listener, with all grim details of his objective reality. North American audiences should note: part of the mystique surrounding Digga's "comeback narrative" is centered around the fact he is but 18 years old - 17 at the time of his arrest in 2018.
Meant to coincide with the release of the mixtape, "P4DP" comes to us in the form of a gothic-styled music video - by which we can wholeheartedly deduce that Digga has no time on his watch for Paigons. The "P4DP" stands for Pray 4 Da Pagans, in the eyes of the gun's beholder (showing little to no mercy, I might add). Give us your thoughts on Digga's new material.
Quotable Lyrics:
Tryna aim for your head, pronounce man dead, pull up and zoot him
Tarrus Riley, old like Smiley, rootin', lootin', need me a new ting
I roll with a Russian, not Vladimir Putin.
