HNHH & TuneCore's new "Heat Seekers" contest is an opportunity to promote your music and work with one of the game's best producers!

Today marks the second week of our "Heat Seekers" contest. Of course, that means the expansion of our accompanying playlist, featuring an additional wave of artist spotlights. Dedicated to highlighting talented TuneCore artists, our new "Heat Seekers" playlist proves that there's plenty of unsigned promise working that independent grind, and you could be featured next.

The "Heat Seekers" contest is running until June 7, so be sure to distribute your first project with TuneCore right here to be eligible for the next batch of playlist additions to be posted on HNHH next week. The "Heat Seekers" grand prize winner will be treated to a studio session with one of the game's best producers at the HNHH studio, with the entire experience being filmed and shared on our website in June. Submit your music now, and you may very well find yourself on our homepage this summer.

In the meantime, check out some of the new tracks showcased on this week's playlist launch, including several familiar faces. In essence, it's a showcase of the talented roster you can find on TuneCore, all of whom retain one hundred percent of all profits made from their music.

Last week, our artist spotlights focused on Mir Fontane, LightUp & CreamDaVillain, and Big Hud AKA Big Dawg Johnson. This week will center around one of TuneCore's more established voices, and a testament to the independent grind, Taylor Bennett. Also on the docket are Buddy Mylez and Futuristic, who have both forged a successful path by releasing their music on TuneCore.

About TuneCore

Many independent artists wonder how to get their music on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and other stores. The reality is, you don’t have to be signed to a major label – all you need is a digital distributor. We recommend using industry leader TuneCore if you’re looking for a trustworthy and transparent service. For an affordable fee, TuneCore will host your album or single on all the major stores and streaming platforms. You get to keep all your rights and 100% of the sales revenue.

Taylor Bennett

Chicago resident Taylor Bennett has been killing it for a minute, with his most recent single "Streaming Services" currently available on all...streaming services. A family man, talented musician, and forward thinker, Bennett has been preparing to follow up last year's Be Yourself with another drop.

Buddy Mylez

Bronx wordsmith Buddy Mylez is the product of his environment, carrying a New York state of mind into the booth. With clear inspiration from the greats that paved the way, his The Show Must Go On project is a welcome homage to his city. Whether on songs like "G-Unit" or the nostalgia-inducing "Yeah I'm Trying To Party," Buddy Mylez makes sure to leave an impression.

Futuristic

Despite the best effort of your bills, the stigma around the first of the month is no longer negative, thanks to the efforts of Futuristic. The Chicago rapper has been dropping off new music on the 1st and 15th, a testament to his prolific work ethic. Never one to shy away from fan interaction, Futuristic has proven himself to be a man of the people. Expect big things to come in 2019.
