It's unsure what to expect from Lil Wayne's highly anticipated Tha Carter V. The project faced many roadblocks including Wayne's long-standing legal battle with Birdman as well as threats of being leaked by pharma-bro, Martin Shkreli. At this point, Wayne hasn't given us much information on the project so the majority of people are going in without any expectations. However, Young Thug already predicts that Wayne's forthcoming effort will not be as good as Lil Baby and Gunna's joint project.
Young Thug is a massive Lil Wayne fan but that doesn't mean he isn't going to be critical of Tha Carter V. The ATLien said that Wayne's upcoming project won't be "harder" than Lil Baby and Gunna's joint project, Drip Harder. Clearly, Thug has a lot of faith in the work of his proteges and in all honesty, we probably know more about Drip Harder than we do about Tha Carter V. The duo have a flawless track record of creating massive bangers and proved it once again this month when they released the lead single off of their project, "Drip Too Hard."
Lil Wayne will be releasing Tha Carter V later this evening. At this point, it's pretty much confirmed that Drake will make an appearance. It was also reported earlier today that Weezy added Post Malone to the album as a last-minute feature.
Regardless of what Thug thinks of the album, it's safe to say everyone is looking forward to both Tha Carter V and Drip Harder.
