With the release of his new project Shelby, Lil Skies cemented himself as one of the most talented up-and-coming rappers in the game. He's done being considered as "up next" and he wants people to take notice of where he's at right now. He dropped one of the most inoffensive projects of the year with each new song on Shelby introducing equally listenable vibes to the table. "Breathe" is a favorite for many and now, a video has been released to keep the train moving.
Directed by Nicholas Jandora, "Breathe" is the latest video from Lil Skies. The clip features some strong editing and a clear theme. The track serves as a love song, with Skies changing his life to be a better partner to his girl. When he wakes up, he wants his girl to be right by his side and if she's not, his whole world falls apart. He levitates in his sleep at the beginning, slamming down hard before waking up in a full bathtub, dripping both literally and metaphorically. Portions of the video are shot underwater and other scenes feature raindrops coming down into the couple's bedroom.
There are a few pretty impressive shots in this video, which you can watch above. What do you think?
