Tuesday marked seventeen years since the release of Cam'ron's third studio album, Come Home With Me, an album that helped solidify Cam as one of the best rappers of that era. The project not only was a success for him, serving as his most commercially successful album to date but also a formal introduction to Dipset. The album was also Cam's debut on Roc-A-Fella with Jay-Z and Dame Dash formally serving as the executive producers on the project.
Cam enlisted Roc-A-Fella's in-house producer, Just Blaze, who sampled Rose Royce's "I'm Going Down," for the lead single, "Oh Boy." The song's title is a reference to heroin and managed to make it past censorship to mainstream America. Cam and Juelz Santana swap bars back-and-forth while playing off of the "Oh Boy" sample."
Cam previously admitted that he and Juelz Santana weren't actually supposed to have the beat and ended up stealing it from Just Blaze. Speaking to Nardwuar a few years back, he explained that Just didn't want to give him the beat but the devil on his shoulder that was Juelz Santana convinced him to steal the city. Although it was a commercial success, Just Blaze was upset with Cam and Juelz over it.
