The Lakers are a serious risk of missing the playoffs.

In LeBron James' first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, the hype has not been lived up to. Many thought that LeBron's existence in L.A. would be an automatic berth in the NBA Finals or at the very least the Western Conference. Well, the team probably won't even make the playoffs as their odds of making it to the postseason have decreased to just 0.1%. The team has a record of 30-34 and are ranked 10th in the Western Conference. To make matters worse, they are 5.5 games back of a playoff spot.

While many fans are worried about the future of the team, one man isn't so concerned and that man is none other than Usher. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Usher explained that Lakers fans should be patient and that better days are ahead.

"Bepatient man. Sometimes it takes a minute to get in the groove!" he explained. "I'm really happy to see that LeBron is such an amazing player, period. And, also too man, even greater than that ... he's an amazing businessman, great entrepreneur. That's what I love about him."

Clearly, Usher loves LeBron and as a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, he knows what LeBron is capable of when it comes to turning around a team's fortunes.

Although if the Lakers want to make the playoffs, it's looking like they'll have to wait until next year.
