The actor preps for the release of "Rough Drafts 2."

It's been a little over a year since Grown-ish star Trevor Jackson released his album Rough Drafts, Pt. 1, and now the actor-rapper is preparing for the release for its follow up, Rough Drafts 2. The 22-year-old's forthcoming effort is scheduled to hit the streets on June 4 and he'll be undertaking a five-city tour immediately following the release.

Jackson's DJMoney-produced single "SPAM in a Can" finds the entertainer struggling through the pressures of celebrity as he raps about not knowing if the people around him care for him as a person or as a star. In the visual that he co-directed with Arrad Rahgoshay, Jackson wears a "My God vs. My Enemies" sweatshirt as he unleashes his emotions alone in a dimly lit stairway.

Jackson has previously stated that he titled his last record Rough Drafts because people are spending too much time obsessed with perfection. "You’ve got to do a couple of rough drafts, revise it," he said. "I’m just trying to show people that it’s OK to be at peace within the steps getting there, to wherever you’re trying to get."

Quotable Lyrics

Been giving more than I'm giving
I swear this industry's disproportionate
But I'mma show them the rebirth of a king
A new kind of metamorphosis
